Linda Birkinshaw
Linda is the artist behind Country Comicals. She lives in Ripon and the range is inspired by life in the Yorkshire countryside. She has been an illustrator since studying for a BA in Art at Exeter University. Linda has illustrated many children's books over the years. She was inspired to create Country Comicals by the landscape and lifestyle of the Yorkshire Dales. Linda enjoys hiking, but finds illustrating keeps her indoors too much!

Linda shares her home with some of the animal friends whose expressions and antics give her ideas for new watercolours. She has an interest in dog training and behaviour which informs the funny world of Country Comicals.
